What a delightful discovery. The restaurant’s interior is simply stunning. Modern touches blend seamlessly with traditional Burmese details—from the intricately designed menu on the wall and the colorful umbrellas adorning the ceiling, to the striking mural of Burmese women gracing the back wall. It creates a welcoming and culturally rich atmosphere. From the moment we stepped inside, the hospitality was exceptional. The hostess greeted us with genuine warmth, and we were pleasantly surprised when the Chef and members of the kitchen staff came out to say hello. Our waiter was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Now, the food. Every dish was a standout. The seafood was perfectly cooked, infused with delicate yet vibrant flavours. The beef curry was melt-in-your-mouth tender, no knife required. I couldn’t get enough of the Tea Leaf Salad—I nearly finished the entire thing myself. We ended on a high note with a dessert that tasted like a comforting blend of warm rice pudding and sponge cake, paired with fresh fruit and cream. All in all, Rangoon Ruby offers a truly special dining experience—flavourful, heartfelt, and beautifully executed. It’s an absolute must-try."

"Excellent fusion Burmese food. Best dishes are Tea Salad, Papaya salad, raw fish salad and their lamb skewers. Definitely have to book before going, especially weekend. Their tea salad is unlike anything you will experience in terms of a perfect blend of flavours. Certainly a must in one's life."
